Article 1 : Inscription conditions

The participant to the activities organized by the surf school L’école de surf française au Sri Lanka attests to be a good swimmer and have no medical indication against surfing and having read the terms of sale and regulation.

The minimum age is 7 years old.

Article 2 : Booking and payment

Booking can be made online: just fill the form on the website. It can also be made by phone call or directly at the beach.

The payment consists on two parts: first, a deposit is required to confirm reservation. Then, the remaining balance is due on the first day of the course, in cash, in the desired currency: in us dollars, euros or rupiah.

L’école de surf française au Sri Lanka does not accept credit card.

Article 3 : Deposit reimbursement

Any cancellation occurring:

  • 1 month before the first lesson: the entire deposit will be refunded
  • Between 1 month and 15 days before the first lesson: 50% of the deposit will be refunded
  • Less than 15 days before the first lesson: the deposit will not be refunded
Article 4 : Cancellation

The surf school L’école de surf française au Sri Lanka reserves the right, if circumstances require it in case of bad weather conditions (lack of waves, storms etc), insufficient number of participants (minimum 2) or in case of independent events beyond its will, to modify, postpone or cancel the schedule planned. If you are unable or unwilling to accept the new schedules then Bali Ocean Surf will provide a surf vouchers under the same booking conditions that has been postponed, to be used anytime within 1 year, started from the date of the booking.

A lesson not done because of the participant will not be refunded except on presentation of a medical certificate done by the hospital.
Any absence or unreported cancellation 24 hours in advance will be charged.

Article 5 : Refund policy
  • No refund will be offered if guests want to stop surfing before 2h
  • No refund will be offered for multi-day surf packages if guests do not want to continue it
  • No refund will be offered if a guest is injured during the surf lesson
Article 6 : Structure responsibility

The participants will be supported by the structure and therefore are on the responsibility of the monitors. They remain on the responsibility of the teacher until the storage of their surfboard and/or until the return in the initial meeting point at the hour planned.

Liability structure for its clients stops outside these hours within the periods described above.

Parents and guardians of the clients must ensure before handing the clients in the structure that the service does occur.

Article 7 : Theft

L’école de surf française au Sri Lanka declines any responsibility in case of loss, theft or damage of objects that may be entrusted..

Article 8 : Image rights

By signing up for services organized by L’école de surf française au Sri Lanka, you allow it to use the photos and/or movies to your image realized during your lessons, for the realization of all advertising material, and without financial compensation.

Article 9 : Personal information

The client has to fulfill an information form the first day. L’école de surf française au Sri Lanka ensures the confidentiality of information gathered during registration.
This data is not shared with any outside partner but can keep customers informed of proposed events by the school.
